First of all, I thank God for my talent...nothing was as motivational as the gift at my talent that he has gived me, and I think that not even going to school would have been...I was born in São Luis-MA, Brazil, in 10/24/75, but I have spent my childhood in a town which is 365 kms from the Capital in a Rural place named Chapadinha. I have drawn since I was 4 years old and, during my entire childhood, I practically developed my reading through American comics. However, when I was 22 years old, I had these dreams or vision which have definitely driven me to Art. They were a dream with lots of illustration with very detailed traces than more i was doing. I take it was a something visionary or revelation! I had these dreams which kept telling me how talented…it was as if these dreams were telling me: go ahead, this is the way you should follow! Suddenly I was drawing what I have dreamt of and much more. Of course, it soon became an issue with my parents at home. Sometimes, I had to lock myself up inside my room and after, some meditation I would reach a trance, and then I would draw all night...Serious !!! i think that to do art, isn't enough take a pencil or ink...

Not having my father's support, at that time, was the worst I ever had to pass through. And, after some arguments, I decided it was time for me to move on.

In 2001 I moved to São Luis and my first job as a professional in this area was at Abamec-Rio Magazine. I was responsible for the covers' illustrations. I have worked there for 2 years and then I gathered with some fellow artists and we have published some zines, and later I have started some comics' workshops.

But only over the Web I have opportunity to work for several comic in Brazil as well worldwide
